Notice of Application for Park Entry Permit
Before entering the conservation area of a national park, you should apply for a Park Entry Permit first. After it is ratified, then apply for a Mountain Entry Permit. While entering the conservation area, please carry two permits and your identification documents at hand for further check-up any time.
Online Application for Park Entry Permit
1. Please click "Online Application for Park Entry Permit."
2. Submission time: Seven days to one month prior to the entrance of the park.
3. Advantages of online application: Save more time, make it faster and easier to book beds during the popular time for the popular routes, and immediately be given a receipt number to track the status of your application.
Notice of Application for Mountain Entry Permit
Except Wuling Recreation Area, the rest areas in Shei-Pa National Park belong to the regularly prohibited or specially designated mountainous areas. Intending to enter the park, you should apply for a Mountain Entry Permit to the Ministry of the Interior's National Police Agency or local police stations (Hsinchu County Police Department, Hengshan Police District of Hsinchu County Police Department, Miaoli County Police Department, Dahu Police District of Miaoli County Police Department, Taichung County Police Department, Heping Police District of Taichung County Police Department), or Shei-Pa National Park Police Brigade, Wuling Police Squad, Guanwu Police Squad.  

Ps. Because Daba Peaks Trail spans two different counties, those interested in taking this trail need to apply for a Mountain Entry Permit to the Ministry of the Interior's National Police Agency, Miaoli County Police Department, Dahu Police District of Miaoli County Police Department, Guanwu Police Substation , or Shei-Pa National Park Police Brigade,Guanwu Police Squad.
In application for Mountain Entry Permit, the followings are required:
1. Three copies of the climbing plan, the route map, and the roster.
2. Each applicant is charged NT$10. (If you straddle more than one county, each county will charge you another NT$10.) Please pay in cash or with a money order to the Shei-Pa National Park Police Brigade.
3. Copies of all applicants' ID cards on front and reverse sides.
4. One medium or large self-addressed stamped envelope.
5. Please send by post to: Shei-Pa National Park Police Brigade, No. 99, Shueiweiping, Fusing Village , Dahu Township , Miaoli County , 36441, Taiwan (R.O.C.)

*If the online application for a Park Entry Permit is ratified, you only need to prepare the above requirements and mail them with the ratified Park Entry Permit to the above address.
6. For further information, please dial 886-37-996700 to Shei-Pa National Park Police Brigade.
