Transportation routes to the Xuejian Recreation Area：

1. From the Miaoli and Dahu areas：Vehicles from the north should exit National Highway 1 at Miaoli Interchange and take No 72 Expressway or Provincial Highway 6 or 3 past Wenshui Shei-pa National Park’s Headquarters, through Dahu, then take Miaoli Road 61 past Zhongxing Intersection post, then take Simaxian Forest Road and enter Xuejian Recreation Area via Erbensong. The route is about 35 kilometers long and takes about 1.5 hours.
2. From the Dongshi and Zhuolan areas：Travelers from the central and southern areas can take Provincial Highway 3 to Dongshi,Taichung County and then take Taichung No. 47 Road, or take Miaoli No. 58 Road from Zhuolan Township to Taichung No. 47 Road (or Provincial Highway 3 to Zhuolan Duankou at Zhuolan Bridge, take the river bank temporary road in the direction of Zhuolan Canyon, then join Taichung County No 47 Road after Baibufa Bridge) and proceed through Daguan and Taoshan Village (Xueshankeng) into Tai-an Township, passing through Yongan and Da-an, then over Meixiang Bridge and through Meiyuan and Tiangou, then taking Simaxian Forest Road and passing Erbensong before reaching Xuejian Recreation Area. The route is about 45 kilometers long and takes about two hours.
